Ecommerce Manager

As the POLSPOTTEN Ecommerce Manager, you'll be the key to creating unforgettable shopping experiences for our customers, online. We strive for nothing less than an excellent customer journey, where we share our passion for design and beautiful products. In this role it is just as important to focus on CRO.

At POLSPOTTEN, we're all about Adding play to space, infusing every room with a touch of playfulness. You will play a pivotal role in the success of our online retail operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our B2C Webstore, ensuring a seamless customer experience, driving sales, and optimizing the performance of our B2C Webstore. You will be part of the Digital team, and will work closely with the Brand team and Sales team.
 

What are your responsibilities?


Sales and Marketing:
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize website content, including product pages, landing pages, and promotional banners.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.
 
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize conversion rates across the webstore, including improving product page layouts, call-to-action buttons, and checkout processes.
  • Conduct A/B testing and user experience (UX) research to identify areas for improvement and increase website conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize website content for SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies.
  • Monitor search engine rankings and organic traffic performance, making adjustments as needed to improve visibility and drive qualified traffic to the webstore.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and algorithms in CRO and SEO, implementing best practices to enhance overall website performance and maximize revenue opportunities.
 
Product Management:
  • Oversee the product catalog, including adding new products, updating descriptions, and managing inventory levels.
  • Ensure accurate product categorization and tagging for easy navigation and searchability.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing and merchandising teams to optimize product assortment and availability.
 
Customer Experience:
  • Maintain a user-friendly and intuitive interface to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Monitor customer feedback and address any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Implement strategies to increase customer engagement and retention.
 
Analytics and Reporting:
  • Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track website traffic, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.
  • Generate regular reports on webstore performance and provide insights for improvement.
 

Who are you?


  • Education: Bachelor or Masters degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role for a leading B2C Brand and webstore
  • CRO: Proficiency in conversion rate optimization (CRO) and search engine optimization (SEO), including A/B testing and UX research.
  • UX: Dedication to enhancing the customer experience through user-friendly interfaces and web merchandising.
  • Paid advertising: Steering our digital marketing agency towards optimal budget allocation and performance metrics.
  • Web analytics: Proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics to track performance metrics and generate actionable insights for improvement.
  • Results-oriented: Proven track record of obtaining commercial results.
  • Strong communication skills: You're assertive and easily connect with others.
