POLSPOTTEN, a globally recognized interior brand, is on the lookout for a Brand Store Manager (a.i.) for our brand-new store on Westerstraat in Amsterda. This will a position for the duration of approximately 4 months, start date a.s.a.p., with an option for extention.

What are your responsibilities?

• Store Management: You'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our brand store, including inventory management and visual merchandising.
• Leadership: Motivate and lead the store team to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
• Customer Experience: Ensure an optimal shopping experience for our customers by providing exceptional service and fostering positive interactions.
• Sales Targets: Actively work towards achieving sales targets by supporting and coaching the team, while continuously optimizing the presentation of the collection to drive commercial success.
• Marketing and Promotion: Contribute to the development and execution of sales and marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
• Analysis and Improvement: Regularly report on store performance and make recommendations for improvements to achieve set goals.

Who are you?

• Education: Degree in a relevant field such as Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Proven working experience in styling, visual merchandising, or interior design within the luxury retail industry, also in a managerial capacity.
• Active Involvement in the Store: As a Brand Store Manager, you'll also work directly in the store, setting an example for the team and providing direct support to customers.
• External orientation: Strong understanding of current trends in fashion, design, and retail, with the ability to translate them into innovative store concepts.
• Concepting: Proficiency in conceptualizing and executing visually appealing store layouts and displays to enhance the brand's image.
• Passion: A passion for design and interior, driving your enthusiasm to represent the POLSPOTTEN brand.
• Results-oriented: Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication skills: You're assertive and easily connect with others.

'Add play to space' is what we stand for. In over thirty years, POLSPOTTEN has evolved from a ceramics shop on Amsterdam's Herenstraat into an internationally renowned interior brand. Our studio designs accessories, furniture, lighting, and tableware, emphasizing craftsmanship and sustainability wrapped in contemporary design. Our iconic interior accessories are sold worldwide in more than 65 countries exclusively through leading concept stores, platforms, and department stores. We have recently moved to our new location at Westerstraat 187 in Amsterdam, where we have the space to combine office, showroom, and brand store.
